Telkom to acquire Digiserve, targeting 40 per cent contribution from enterprise business
PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) will take over 100 per cent of the paid-up capital of PT Digital Aplikasi Solusi (Digiserve), as part of a strategy to strengthen its business-to-business (B2B) operations in the field of information and communication technology (ICT).
Telkom’s Director of Enterprise & Business Service, Veranita Yosephine, said full ownership would strengthen the integration of Digiserve into Telkom’s B2B ICT segment.
“Digiserve will become part of Telkom’s B2B ICT segment, and this direct control is expected to strengthen synergies and deliver more integrated end-to-end ICT solutions,” Vera said at the Public Expose Live 2026 press conference in Jakarta on Monday.
The B2B ICT segment forms part of Telkom’s enterprise business, which Vera revealed currently contributes less than 15 per cent of the company’s total revenue.
She therefore considers this contribution to be below its developable potential, in line with rising market demand.
“At present, the enterprise business contributes less than 15 per cent of Telkom’s revenue. We see this level as still sub-optimal, with considerable room for growth given the continuously increasing market demand,” Vera said.
Meanwhile, she noted that the enterprise business contribution at a number of global telecommunications companies has reached 20-40 per cent of total Group revenue.
The achievements of these global telecommunications companies will therefore serve as a benchmark for Telkom as it seeks to increase the scale of its B2B ICT business going forward.
“At a number of global telecommunications companies, the enterprise business contribution has reached 20-40 per cent of total group revenue. This serves as a benchmark and shows the opportunity for Telkom to gradually increase the scale of B2B ICT as one of its future revenue growth sources,” Vera said.
Earlier, in an official announcement on Wednesday (02/09), Digiserve’s management stated that 100 per cent of Digiserve’s shares would be taken over by Telkom from existing shareholders, namely PT Multimedia Nusantara and Trihono Edhie Laksono.
The completion of the takeover remains subject to a number of corporate approvals in accordance with the articles of association and internal regulations of both Digiserve and Telkom. The transaction also depends on the fulfilment of the conditions set out in the agreements relating to the planned takeover.
Digiserve was previously a joint venture between Telkom and Australia’s Telstra Corporation Limited under the name Telkomtelstra.
In 2021, the Telkom Group acquired Telstra’s 49 per cent stake through PT Multimedia Nusantara, or TelkomMetra. Once all shares were held within the Telkom Group, the company was transformed into Digiserve by Telkom Indonesia.
Under the latest acquisition plan, the ownership structure will change again, placing Telkom as Digiserve’s direct controlling shareholder.
