Telkom sets new divisions
BANDUNG, West Java (JP): The state run domestic telecommunications operator PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) has officially established seven new divisions under its restructuring program.
Telkom's president Setyanto Prawira Santosa swore in seven division chiefs on Monday, including Guntur Siregar for the Sumatra division based in Medan of North Sumatra, John Welly for the Jakarta division, Adek Yulianwar for West Java division based in Bandung, Adeng Ahmad for the Central Java division based in Semarang, Kristiono for the East Java division based in Surabaya, Bajoe Narbito for Kalimantan based in Balikpapan of East Kalimantan and Koesprawoto for Bali, West and East Nusa Tenggara, Sulawesi and Irian Jaya based in Ujungpandang of South Sulawesi.
Telkom, with 12 branches throughout the country previously, will also set up another division which will focus on network divisions and satellite and long distance calls.(icn)
