JAKARTA (ANTARA) - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk reported consolidated revenue of Rp37.2 trillion in the first quarter of 2026, a 1.5% year-on-year increase amid global macroeconomic uncertainty. “This year, Telkom will intensify the execution of its TLKM 30 strategy to optimise value creation and ensure the company’s long-term resilience. The Q1 2026 performance serves as a strong start and motivation for TelkomGroup to steadily improve and deliver the best outcomes for the company, customers, society, and the nation,” said Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini in a statement released in Jakarta on Friday.

Alongside revenue growth, the company recorded EBITDA of Rp18.0 trillion with a 48.3% margin. Net profit stood at Rp4.3 trillion with an 11.7% margin, while normalized net profit reached Rp5.1 trillion, or a 13.8% margin. Operating cash flow grew 3.1% YoY to Rp17.3 trillion, driven by TOTEX efficiency programmes and disciplined collections.

The contraction in net profit was primarily due to accelerated depreciation impacts and business normalisation during the transformation phase. These pressures are transitional and non-cash, while operational performance remains fundamentally sound.

In the B2C segment covering mobile and fixed broadband, Telkomsel recorded consolidated revenue of Rp27.6 trillion, up 1.3% YoY. Mobile ARPU increased 6.4% YoY to Rp45,100, reflecting a more stable and rational industry environment due to disciplined pricing strategies and product simplification.

Dian added that the telecommunications industry remains promising as connectivity and internet have become essential societal needs. “We are optimistic about strengthening the mobile and fixed broadband ecosystems sustainably while prioritising excellent customer experience,” she said.

In the B2B Infrastructure segment, revenue grew 6.8% YoY to Rp2.4 trillion, supported by the expansion of Fiber-to-the-Tower (FTTT) services. Mitratel, the subsidiary handling tower and FTTT business, recorded Rp2.3 trillion in revenue with a stable EBITDA margin of 82.7%, while expanding its optical fibre network by 1,080 km this quarter, bringing total ownership to 58,279 km.

Meanwhile, the B2B ICT segment recorded Rp3.1 trillion in revenue amid ongoing restructuring. A more selective approach to new partnerships caused short-term slowdowns, but aims to drive healthier margins and strengthen long-term competitive positioning.

In terms of transformation execution, capital expenditure reached Rp4.9 trillion, or 13.2% of revenue, with 99% allocated to core infrastructure development. Telkom is also preparing to split its wholesale fibre connectivity business and assets into InfraNexia, targeting completion in Q3 2026, and the divestment of AdMedika Group, slated for completion by end of first half 2026.

“2026 is a period of both opportunities and challenges for TelkomGroup. Therefore, we will continue to accelerate the execution of the TLKM 30 transformation strategy, prioritising operational discipline to strengthen business sustainability, deliver more inclusive services, and build a digital ecosystem capable of creating broader impact,” Dian said.
