Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has once again carried out its annual Ramadan Safari as part of the TelkomGroup RAFI (Ramadan-Idulfitri) 2026 programme under the theme ‘Present Without Pause, Serve Wholeheartedly’. This activity is conducted nationwide across all Telkom Regional areas with the main agenda of ensuring readiness of TelkomGroup infrastructure and service quality during Ramadan to Idulfitri and the distribution of social assistance.

Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini, accompanied by EVP Telkom Regional III Rachmad Dwi Hartanto, SVP Group Sustainability & Corporate Communication Telkom Ahmad Reza, and other senior Telkom leaders conducted the TelkomGroup RAFI 2026 Directorate visit to Telkom Regional III region, specifically Semarang. During the series of activities, Dian visited GraPARI Pahlawan Semarang to directly observe service activities and interact with customers to ensure needs are met.

He also reviewed various digital service facilities at GraPARI, such as a smart greeter to welcome visitors, a face-recognition-based prepaid registration system for easier SIM card registration, and a device corner providing information and devices for customers. Next, he inspected the TelkomGroup RAFI 2026 Post at the Integrated Operation Center (IOC) Semarang to ensure readiness of network infrastructure and services during Ramadan and Idulfitri. The RAFI Post serves as a network operations monitoring hub to safeguard telecommunications service quality for the public.

As in previous years, TelkomGroup has taken various anticipatory measures to ensure network operations remain reliable and of high quality during Ramadan and Idulfitri, which are typically characterised by increased traffic. This year, predicted traffic for digital services is expected to rise by around 9.2% compared to the same period last year.

Measures include strengthening infrastructure capacity, optimising monitoring systems and IT tools, and forming a dedicated task force to conduct intensive monitoring during RAFI to improve operational coordination. 13,700 posko personnel and technicians will work 24/7 on a rotating basis during the posko period from 13-30 March 2025.

TelkomGroup will also conduct a network readiness rehearsal to ensure systems and operational procedures align. In addition, they will hold a RAFI Post kick-off on Friday (6 March) as a commitment to ensure connectivity availability, cyber security protection, and operational & service excellence for customers in B2B, B2C, and the wider community up to the Lebaran moment.

Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini said Ramadan and Idulfitri are always followed by increased demand for communications and digital services. Therefore, all TelkomGroup personnel are committed to ensuring readiness of infrastructure and delivering the best services so that customers can enjoy a premium and quality telecommunications experience.

’ I commend the dedication of all RAFI task force members and RAFI post personnel who are ready to safeguard service operations during Ramadan to Idulfitri to ensure connectivity remains available for the community,’ Dian said in an official statement on Thursday (5/3/2026).

As part of the Ramadan Safari, Dian also held face-to-face sessions with TelkomGroup staff at Telkom Regional III Office in Semarang, while delivering a transformation update on the company’s direction and TLKM 30 strategy. This event provided management with an opportunity to reinforce alignment of strategy and execution while hearing directly from employees.

In line with corporate social responsibility, the Ramadan Safari also includes the Telkom Berbagi programme. Nationally, assistance is provided in the form of devices and internet connectivity for 50 madrasahs, schools, and pesantren, as well as financial aid for 1,000 orphans, 1,000 underprivileged community members, and disabled people, with a total value of Rp2 billion.

‘Ramadan is a meaningful moment to strengthen togetherness and care. May TelkomGroup’s Ramadan Safari initiatives bring benefits to the community and bring peace and happiness to Indonesian families as we welcome the day of victory,’ Dian concluded.
