Telkom plans promotion drive

JAKARTA (JP): State-owned telecommunication company PT
Telkom's Jakarta office plans to launch a one-month promotion in
Greater Jakarta.

Bambang Riady Oemar, head of the PT Telkom Jakarta office,
said on Saturday that the campaign, between March 11 and April
20, will offer customers new phone lines.

"Those who want to have new or additional phone lines can
apply. We will also help customers with their telephone
problems," Bambang said, adding that the offer will be available
to residents of Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang and Serang, West Java.

He said the one-month promotion will also introduce PT
Telkom's new products to business circles. (sur)
