Telkom Indonesia Launches Agentic AI by BigBox for Autonomous Business Process Automation

PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) officially launched Agentic AI by BigBox, a next-generation artificial intelligence platform designed to accelerate digital transformation through intelligent automation, business process integration, and data-driven decision-making.

The launch of this innovation was carried out by Telkom’s Director of IT Digital Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi accompanied by Telkom’s EGM Digital Product Komang Budi Aryasa at the ITD Summit agenda which took place in Bandung (23/4).

As an evolution of conventional AI, Agentic AI by BigBox not only provides insights but also executes semi-automated or automated actions according to organizational needs. This technology supports cross-system workflow orchestration, end-to-end data and AI integration, and increases operational efficiency at the enterprise scale.

The presence of this innovation also embodies the company’s strategic commitment through the AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) initiative. As a driving force for artificial intelligence transformation, the AI CoE is built on five main pillars designed to accelerate technology adoption comprehensively from end-to-end. This ecosystem includes the AI Campus to focus on research and talent development, the AI Playground as a space for experimentation and innovation, AI Connect to strengthen collaboration between AI talents and practitioners, the AI Hub as a center for commercializing business solutions, and ultimately AI Native, which encourages the use of AI into the core of company operations.
