PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) held a hybrid thanksgiving celebration for its 61st anniversary themed ‘Siner61 Transformasi’ on Monday, 6 July 2026. The event was attended by the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, senior leaders, the labour union chairman, and all TelkomGroup employees across five Telkom Regional areas. In her speech, Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini invited all TelkomGroup personnel to reflect on the company’s journey and achievements. She urged employees to use the anniversary as a moment of reflection on their contributions and as motivation to deliver their best performance in achieving targets and ensuring the success of the TLKM 30 transformation for sustainable company growth. ‘TLKM 30 transformation is not just a corporate project, but a choice to be faster in decision-making, bolder in innovation, and more focused on delivering value. With the spirit of transformation synergy among all TelkomGroup personnel, I am confident we can ensure Telkom remains relevant, competitive, and a key driver of Indonesia’s digital transformation,’ Dian said. Independent Commissioner Rofikoh Rokhim noted that over more than six decades, Telkom has contributed to unifying the nation through digital connectivity. She stated that TelkomGroup must continue to transform to stay relevant, become more customer-oriented, and maintain integrity and accountability in delivering the best services across the country. The anniversary celebration featured various activities involving employees and benefiting the community, including internal community exhibitions, a bazaar, sports and e-sports competitions, internal talent searches, blood donation drives, and entertainment. Demonstrating its commitment to responsible and sustainable event management, Telkom also introduced various Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, including waste management and sorting. On the environmental pillar, Telkom focused on waste management and the circular economy. Through collaborations with Rekosistem and Plasticpay, Telkom encouraged participants to take real action in reducing waste through sorting, recycling, and education on sustainable waste management. Special for the 61st anniversary, activation points on Reverse Vending Machines at Telkom Landmark Tower Jakarta, Surabaya, and Menara Multimedia Jakarta were increased to Rp610. On the social pillar, Telkom launched the UMKM Aggregator Movement, a digital initiative to support MSMEs fostered by TelkomGroup, Indibiz SME partners, and general MSME players through social media utilisation. Using the hashtag #SpillUMKM, the movement encourages public participation in promoting MSME products and services, making them easier to find, expanding their market reach, and increasing their digital visibility. Participating MSMEs can also progress to Go Modern, Go Online, and Go Global levels. Telkom hopes this collaborative movement will strengthen an inclusive digital business ecosystem by connecting MSMEs, communities, and the public. Given that MSMEs are the backbone of the economy, contributing over 61 percent of the national Gross Domestic Product and absorbing up to 97 percent of the workforce, #SpillUMKM is expected to become a sustainable movement that opens more market opportunities and drives healthier economic circulation and national digital economic growth. Telkom is also strengthening digital talent development and artificial intelligence (AI) utilisation through AIcosystem, an integrated AI ecosystem that unites TelkomGroup’s AI capabilities to accelerate AI adoption across various sectors. AIcosystem provides a space for collaboration, learning, and innovation, aiming to add value for society and foster more competitive Indonesian digital talent. As part of this programme and the anniversary celebrations, Telkom held the AI Tell You competition, inviting local creators to use AI as a medium to express ideas, stories, and creativity in video format. The competition received an enthusiastic response with a total of 700 submissions from participants across various regions in Indonesia. Judged by professionals from the creative and digital technology industries, AI Tell You serves as a platform for the younger generation to explore AI’s potential creatively and responsibly, while encouraging the emergence of an innovative digital creator ecosystem that is adaptive to technological developments and capable of producing valuable works.
