PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is implementing its Telkom 30 transformation strategy. Alongside this move, the company will also develop an organisational structure that does not focus solely on the consumer segment, but extends to other services.

Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini said Telkom 30 is the company’s five-year strategy through 2030. The strategy is built on four fundamental steps.

The first is operational excellence, so that Telkom becomes more agile, efficient, and customer-oriented. Next is streamlining, or portfolio simplification, to focus on areas that provide greater value creation for the company, shareholders, and the state.

The third pillar is unlocking value potential to maximise strategic infrastructure, from fibre optics, telecommunications towers, and data centres, to submarine cables.

The last is transforming the business model and organisation. Dian explained that the company wants to develop the organisation into a strategic holding with a focus on collaboration and value creation for shareholders.

“Ultimately, Telkom 30 is based on one main ambition: moving from connectivity and infrastructure towards intelligence and creating various digital opportunities for the future,” Dian explained in the opening keynote of the Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) 2026 in Nusa Dua, Bali, on Wednesday (26/8/2026).

At the same time, Telkom will also restructure its organisation to be more focused and provide room for each business line to capture opportunities in its respective market segment.

So far, the B2C (Business-to-Consumer) business remains the largest contributor and will continue to leverage a strong customer base and extensive network reach. In addition, there is a B2B (Business-to-Business) infrastructure segment to strengthen the company’s position in the digital infrastructure sector, from data centres, fibre optics, towers, satellites, network assets, to backbone.

“At the same time, B2B International will expand our global connectivity reach through submarine cables and international wholesale services. Meanwhile, B2B IT services will consolidate our digital capabilities to capture the growing demand for integrated enterprise solutions,” he said.

According to Dian, this move is not merely a change in infrastructure, but part of repositioning the Telkom Group for the future.

“Ultimately, this is not just an infrastructure change. This is our step to reposition the Telkom Group to capture the next wave of growth and remain relevant in a rapidly developing digital industry,” he said.
