PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has entered its 61st year. Various activities were held to enliven the peak of Telkom’s anniversary celebration on Monday (6/7/2026), under the theme Siner61 Transformasi, which took place in The Telkom Hub area, Jakarta. The series of thanksgiving celebration activities for Telkom’s 61st anniversary was attended by the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors and Senior Leaders, the Head of the Employees’ Union, and all TelkomGroup employees. The event, held in a hybrid format (online and offline), was not only attended by employees in Jakarta but also by all TelkomGroup employees across five Telkom Regional areas.

Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini invited all TelkomGroup personnel to reflect on Telkom’s journey and the various achievements that have been attained together. Dian invited all employees to make this anniversary momentum a moment of reflection on the contributions made, as well as an encouragement to continue delivering the best performance in achieving targets and overseeing the successful transformation of TLKM 30 to realise sustainable company growth. “The TLKM 30 transformation is not just a corporate project, but a choice to be faster in making decisions, bolder in innovating, and more focused on delivering value. With the spirit of transformation synergy together with all TelkomGroup personnel, I am confident we can ensure Telkom remains relevant, competitive, and becomes the main driver of Indonesia’s digital transformation,” said Dian.

Telkom Independent Commissioner, Rofikoh Rokhim, stated that during more than six decades of contributing to the nation and state, Telkom has helped unite the country through digital connectivity. Going forward, TelkomGroup must continue to transform to remain relevant to the times, become more customer-oriented, and always maintain integrity and accountability in delivering the best services to the public across the country. With a spirit of synergy, Telkom’s 61st anniversary celebration presented various activities involving TelkomGroup employees while providing a positive impact on society. These activities included an internal community exhibition, a bazaar, sports competitions, e-sports, an internal talent search, a blood donation programme, and entertainment.

As a manifestation of its commitment to conducting environmentally responsible and sustainable activities, Telkom presented various Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, including waste management and sorting at this 61st anniversary celebration. On the environmental pillar, Telkom focuses on waste management and the circular economy. Through collaboration with Rekosistem and Plasticpay, Telkom invited all participants to participate in concrete actions to reduce waste through sorting, recycling, and education on sustainable waste management. Additionally, special for Telkom’s 61st anniversary, activation points on Reverse Vending Machines (RVM) were increased to Rp610 at the Telkom Landmark Tower Jakarta and Surabaya locations, as well as Menara Multimedia Jakarta.

Regarding the social pillar, Telkom launched the UMKM Aggregator Movement as a digital movement to support the empowerment of TelkomGroup-assisted MSMEs, Indibiz SME partners, and MSME players in general through the use of social media. Using the hashtag #SpillUMKM, this movement also encourages public participation to promote MSME products and services so they are easier to find, reach a wider market, and increase the visibility of business players in the digital space. From a development perspective, the assisted MSME players involved in this movement may also upgrade to the next level, from Go Modern, Go Digital, Go Online, to Go Global. Through this collaborative movement, Telkom hopes to strengthen an increasingly inclusive digital business ecosystem by tightening the connections between MSME players, communities, and the public. Considering that MSMEs are the backbone of the economy, contributing more than 61% of the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and absorbing up to 97% of the workforce, the presence of #SpillUMKM is expected to develop into a sustainable movement that opens more market opportunities for MSME players. With increasingly broad public participation in the future, this movement is expected to help drive a healthier economic cycle and strengthen national digital economic growth.

On another front, Telkom also continues to strengthen the development of digital talent and the utilisation of artificial intelligence (AI) technology through AIcosystem, an integrated AI ecosystem that unites TelkomGroup’s AI capabilities to accelerate AI adoption across various sectors. The presence of AIcosystem also opens up space for collaboration, learning, and innovation so that the use of AI not only provides added value for society but also encourages the birth of increasingly competitive Indonesian digital talent. As part of this programme and the anniversary series, Telkom organised the AI Tell You competition, which invited local creators to utilise AI as a medium to express ideas, stories, and creativity in the form of video works. This competition received high enthusiasm with total submissions reaching 700 works from participants in various regions in Indonesia. Judged by professionals from the creative and digital technology industries, AI Tell You became a space for the younger generation to explore the potential of AI creatively and responsibly, while encouraging the birth of an innovative digital creator ecosystem that is adaptive to technological developments and capable of producing valuable works. “Thank you to all TelkomGroup personnel, customers, partners, and stakeholders who have been part of Telkom’s 61-year journey. Together we step forward with a spirit of synergy and innovation so that Telkom can…”
