Telkom Assures Readiness of Infrastructure and Services During Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr
Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has assured the readiness of its infrastructure and telecommunications services for the Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah period. ‘The Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr momentum is always followed by increased demand for communication and digital services,’ said Telkom’s President Director Dian Siswarini in a statement in Jakarta on Friday. ‘Therefore, all TelkomGroup personnel are committed to ensuring infrastructure readiness and delivering the best services so customers can enjoy a prime and high-quality telecommunications experience,’ he added. Furthermore, Telkom is again carrying out its annual Safari Ramadhan as part of the TelkomGroup Siaga RAFI (Ramadhan Idul Fitri) 2026, which carries the theme ‘Hadir Tanpa Henti, Layani Sepenuh Hati’ (Be Present Without Stop, Serve Wholeheartedly). The activity will be conducted nationwide across Telkom Regional areas with the main agenda of ensuring infrastructure readiness and the quality of TelkomGroup services during the Ramadhan period until Eid al-Fitr and the distribution of social assistance. ‘I appreciate the dedication of all personnel in the RAFI taskforce and RAFI posts who are ready to safeguard operations during Ramadhan until Eid al-Fitr to ensure connectivity remains maintained for the public,’ said Dian. The RAFI posts function as the operational network monitoring centres to maintain the quality of TelkomGroup’s digital telecommunications services for the public. As in previous years, TelkomGroup undertakes various anticipatory steps to ensure network operations remain reliable and high-quality during Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr, which are typically marked by increased traffic for communications and data. In 2026, digital service traffic is projected to rise by about 9.2 percent compared with the same period last year. Dian noted the measures range from strengthening infrastructure capacity, optimising monitoring systems and IT tools, to forming a dedicated task force that will monitor intensively during the RAFI period to ensure more focused, responsive, and integrated operational coordination. A total of 13,700 RAFI posts and technicians will be on duty 24/7 in shifts during the RAFI post period from March 13-30, 2025. TelkomGroup also conducted network readiness rehearsals to ensure systems and operational procedures run in sync. Additionally, TelkomGroup will kick off the RAFI post on Friday, underlining its commitment to safeguarding connectivity, cybersecurity, and ensuring operational and service excellence for B2B, B2C, and the wider public up to the Lebaran moment.
