Telecom cooperation signed

JAKARTA (JP): PT Satelite Palapa Indonesia (Satelindo), a
private telecommunications firm belonging to the Bimantara Group,
yesterday tied up with the association of telecommunications
kiosks to reach more customers.

Executives of both companies yesterday signed a memorandum of
understanding for future cooperation. The kiosks, spread all over
the country, will serve the public using Satelindo's
telecommunications services, in addition to those provided by
state-owned telecommunications firms PT Indosat and PT Telkom.
