Teijin raises textile output
TOKYO (AFP): Japan's Teijin Ltd. plans to boost polyester
product output at its plants in Thailand and Indonesia with an
investment of 23.5 billion yen (US$196 million), a company
official said Tuesday.
Teijin aims to raise daily capacity at its Thai plant to 565
tonnes and to 432 tons at its Indonesian plant, the official
said.
Teijin's units Teijin Polyester (Thailand) Ltd. and Teijin
(Thailand) Ltd. are to invest a total 10.5 billion yen and its
unit TP Teijin Indonesia Fiber Corp. is to invest 13.0 billion
yen.
