Tehran: Any country that aids the US attack will be a legitimate target for Iran

Moscow (ANTARA) - Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi said on Friday (6 March) that any country joining the United States’ aggression against Iran would become a legitimate target for Tehran. ‘If there are countries that join with America and Israel in the aggression against Iran, they will also become legitimate targets for Iran’s retaliation,’ Takht-Ravanchi said in an interview with France 24. He added that Iran has informed European countries and others to be cautious and not to get involved in the aggression against Iran. In addition, the Iranian deputy foreign minister said that Iran is not attempting to negotiate with the US because it does not trust the Washington administration. ‘No, we do not trust America, the US administration. Because they betray, not only betraying us, but betraying diplomacy. We are in the process of negotiations when they started attacking us… We are defending ourselves,’ Takht-Ravanchi said.
