Teh Lola Cares Programme Volume 17 Distributes Aid to Fire Victims in Pagerageung

A fire disaster occurred ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri in Kampung Cipanas, Desa Cipacing, Pagerageung Subdistrict, Tasikmalaya Regency. The blaze caused material losses and sorrow for the affected residents as their homes were completely destroyed. According to reports, there were no fatalities, but a child who was at the scene was rescued by nearby residents, and the victims lost their homes, requiring support to rebuild their lives. As a form of social concern for the community facing this calamity, the Teh Lola Berbakti Programme Volume 17 has delivered aid to the fire victims in Kampung Cipanas, Desa Cipacing, Pagerageung Subdistrict. The assistance is expected to help meet basic needs while providing encouragement to the victims. Indonesian House of Representatives member from the NasDem Fraction for West Java Electoral District XI, Lola Nelria Oktavia, affectionately known as Teh Lola, stated that the aid to the fire victims in the Pagerageung area is part of the commitment to be present among the people in need. “This disaster is undoubtedly a heavy trial for our brothers and sisters; through the Teh Lola Berbakti programme volume 17, we aim to provide support and alleviate the burdens they feel. May the aid given be beneficial and strengthen them to rise again,” she said on Wednesday (1/4). According to Teh Lola, social activities not only focus on distributing aid but also serve as an invitation to the wider community to enhance care and solidarity towards others, especially in emergency situations. The Teh Lola Berbakti programme is an ongoing initiative consistently carried out to assist communities in various regions. “The victims affected by the fire disaster need helping hands; it is hoped that with support from various parties, the fire victims in Pagerageung can quickly recover and resume their lives better,” she concluded.
