Tegar Beriman-Bomang Road Targeted for Connection via Flyover by 2027
The Bogor Regency government in West Java is targeting the connection of Jalan Tegar Beriman with the Bojonggede-Kemang (Bomang) route through the construction of a flyover by 2027.
Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto said the Bomang Flyover development is part of the regional government’s efforts to strengthen regional connectivity, particularly from Bojonggede and Kemang towards the administrative centre in Cibinong.
“In 2027, the Bomang Flyover will begin construction so that it connects up to the Bomang four-way intersection,” said Rudy.
He explained that the flyover will overcome the separation of routes caused by the Bogor-Jakarta KRL railway line while opening direct access from the Bojonggede-Kemang area to Jalan Tegar Beriman.
Based on the detailed engineering design (DED) document, the budget requirement for the Bomang Flyover construction reaches nearly Rp150 billion.
Before construction begins, the Bogor Regency government will carry out several stages, starting from site determination and appraisal to land acquisition, which falls under the regional government’s authority.
To accelerate implementation, the Bomang Flyover project is included among approximately 10 strategic projects for the 2027 fiscal year that will undergo early tendering at the end of 2026.
“There are around 10 projects that we will conduct early tendering for this year for implementation in the 2027 fiscal year,” said Rudy.
Before the flyover construction begins, the Bogor Regency government is targeting the completion of two strategic bridges on the Bomang section first, namely the Sitanggerang Bridge and the Pesanggrahan Bridge.
The Sitanggerang Bridge is planned to be the longest bridge on the route. Meanwhile, the Pesanggrahan Bridge is being prepared to strengthen the connecting network towards the flyover development area.
According to Rudy, once the entire network is connected, residents from Bojonggede, Kemang, and Parung will have more direct access to Cibinong without having to detour through the Bogor Outer Ring Road (BORR) toll road or Sentul.
The opening of this connectivity will also be followed by the arrangement of the Parung area. One of the steps being prepared is to organise street vendors by providing suitable relocation sites.
The regional government has prepared approximately two hectares of land around the market as an alternative location for the arrangement. The land is also being prepared for a planned fish market integrated with community economic activities.
“We do not want the government’s good intentions in building to kill existing businesses. Everything must be arranged together so that it has a positive impact on the community’s economy,” said Rudy.
