Teenage girl burned alive

BANDUNG, West Java: Fire swept through five houses along
Padasuka road in Cibeunying, burning 14-year-old Entin alive on
Tuesday, Antara reported yesterday.

Police sources said the fire probably started when a kerosene
stove used by Entin's family to cook their Idul Fitri meal
exploded. The fire spread to oil drums and jerricans of gasoline
stacked in front of Entin's house. Entin's father sold gasoline
and lubricants.

Nine families were made homeless by the fire. (swe)
