Tedy Rusmawan, a member of Commission IV of the West Java Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) from the PKS Faction, has provided the latest updates regarding the toll access at KM 1lar9 and KM 151 in the Gedebage area, Bandung. The KM 149 access is targeted to be able to operate 24 hours a day starting from November 2026.

Tedy stated that this information was obtained after communicating with the West Java Provincial Government, including the West Java Regional Secretary (Sekda). Based on the information received, the Directorate of Freeways (JBH) is still awaiting the Function and Operation Feasibility Test (ULFO) documents for the KM 149 access.

“The ULFO has not yet been issued because there are repairs that have not yet been completed by Jasa Marga,” said Tedy on Monday (14/9/26) afternoon.

Tedy noted that Jasa Marga is currently preparing the implementation method for these repairs along with a completion schedule. The target for completing these repairs is set for November 2026.

Consequently, Tedy hopes that the KM 149 toll access can soon obtain certainty to operate fully 24 hours a day. He believes the existence of this access is vital for the mobility of the community in the Gedebage area and its surroundings.

“We hope that by November there will be new information. Hopefully, KM 149 can operate 24 hours a day,” he said.

Regarding the KM 151 toll access, Tedy revealed obstacles in the plan to build permanent access. The Directorate of Freeways (JBH) stated that permanent construction at KM 151 is considered difficult because its location is too close to KM 149.

Furthermore, there is a Pertamina pipeline at the location which presents a significant issue. If the pipeline must be relocated, it would require substantial costs.

Due to these conditions, the JBH is encouraging an alternative in the form of constructing an interchange at the KM 149 Toll that connects access to and from Cileunyi.

Tedy believes this option could serve as a more feasible solution to improve connectivity in the Gedebage area while simultaneously helping to alleviate traffic congestion.

“Hopefully, this becomes a solution that can be realised soon. This is indeed much needed by the community to handle congestion,” said Tedy.

According to him, improving accessibility will also have a positive impact on several strategic facilities and areas in Gedebage. These include access to the KCIC (Whoosh), Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium, Al Jabbar Grand Mosque, and various other areas.

Tedy emphasised that his party will continue to oversee the progress of these plans to ensure that the community’s need for better transport access can be realised.

“We will continue to monitor this, and we ask for your prayers so that what we hope for can be realised,” he concluded.
