Technical quality of Indonesian films

As an Indonesian film buff, I'm concerned with the fact that
Indonesian films are still poor and simple in terms of
technology.

Indonesian film makers must try to make quality films that can
demonstrate technological sophistication in film making like we
can witness in such films as Independence Day, X-Men, Godzilla,
Batman, Jurassic Park or the films from Walt Disney and Columbia
Star Films.

If such films can be made in Indonesia, they can be exported
to compete with films from the United States and other countries.

A film can become a worldwide box office success because it is
of good quality and demonstrate the excellence of sophisticated
technology. It is no use spending billions of rupiah on making
films which show only simple technology.

Indonesian films can make progress only if the film makers
take advantage of the progress in technology. How can our Tutur
Tinular and Brama Kumbara compete with Jurassic Park, Batman
Returns, Terminator or X-men?
