Tech Devices Enhance Educational Access for Children in Social Foundations

Amid rapid technological advancements, many children in social foundations still face limited access to educational support devices. This prompted PT Finnet Indonesia to provide assistance aimed at opening learning opportunities and skill development for them.

Through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Finnet donated 20 laptops and six televisions to Rumah Piatu Muslimin Foundation and Rumah Kebaikan Abadi Foundation. The devices, previously used by the company but still functional, have been repurposed for educational and developmental needs at the foundations.

For the children, the technology serves not only as a learning tool but also as a window to the wider world. The laptops and televisions are expected to support educational processes, mentoring activities, and skill development beneficial for their future.

Andi Syahputra, Head of Office and Asset Management at PT Finnet Indonesia, stated the initiative is part of the company’s commitment to delivering sustainable social benefits through optimal facility utilisation.

“Finnet hopes this aid will support learning and mentoring activities at the foundations, providing tangible benefits to the community. Through this programme, we also aim to foster sustainability and social responsibility by repurposing functional equipment,” he said on Monday (25 May).

The foundations welcomed the donation warmly. Tika Dewanti, Head of Social Empowerment Division at Rumah Piatu Muslimin Foundation, expressed gratitude for Finnet’s concern for the children’s educational needs.

“Through this programme, we hope the aid will provide real benefits for learning, mentoring, and child development. We trust these facilities will be well-utilised to support more productive and inspiring activities,” she said.

Arfi Prayetno, Chairman of Rumah Kebaikan Abadi Foundation, also expressed appreciation and hoped for continued collaboration with Finnet to support social and educational activities in the future.

“We thank PT Finnet Indonesia for the television and laptop donations to Rumah Kebaikan Abadi Foundation. God willing, this aid will greatly benefit our foundation’s activities, and we hope Rumah Kebaikan Abadi can continue collaborating with PT Finnet Indonesia moving forward,” he said.

Through this donation, Finnet has not only provided electronic devices but also brought new hope for children in the foundations to learn, grow, and secure a better future.
