Team to inspect public places

JAKARTA (JP): Governor Suryadi Soedirdja will soon assign a
special team to supervise the implementation of the National
Discipline Campaign at terminals, railway stations, markets and
privately and state-owned companies.

Djoko Brotosurojo, the team's chairman, told The Jakarta Post
that during the operation team members would ensure that owners,
directors and managers uphold the rules of the campaign which was
launched nation-wide by President Soeharto on May 23 last year.

Djoko said that the team would begin inspecting the
establishments a few days after the Idul Fitri holidays.

"During the operation, we will use various methods, including
holding dialogs, conducting interviews, and making on-the-spot
and impromptu visits."(bas)
