Teacher stabbed to death for sodomy

YOGYAKARTA: Santo Dul Ari, 19, a student of a vocational
school in Pundong subdistrict, Bantul regency, Yogyakarta stabbed
his teacher, Rudy Harsoyo, (50), to death on Saturday, a police
officer said.

Head of the Bantul police's detective unit Adj. Comr. Hadi
Paryitno quoted Santo as saying that he stabbed the teacher
because he was angry at the victim who had sexually harassed him.

"The initial questioning of the suspect shows that the
incident was sparked by sexual harassment. The suspect was angry
because he was about to be sodomized by the victim," the police
officer said as quoted by Antara.

Santo told the police that Rudy asked him to come to his
house, saying that he wanted to help him with his homework.

But instead of helping him, Rudy performed oral sex on Santo,
Hadi said.

The teacher, who was stronger than Santo, then attempted to
sodomize him despite Santo's resistance. Santo told the police
that he found a knife near Rudy's bed, the officer said, adding
that Santo then stabbed his teacher. The knife penetrated Rudy's
liver.

The police managed to arrest Santo several hours later and
have detained him for further questioning. (02)
