JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) has recorded 12,109,636 annual income tax return (SPT PPh) filings for the 2025 tax year up to 27 April 2026.

Director of Education, Services, and Public Relations at DJP, Inge Diana Rismawanti, stated that the majority of filers are still individual employee taxpayers, numbering 10,238,700 SPTs, followed by 1,319,777 SPTs from non-employee individual taxpayers.

“Meanwhile, from the corporate taxpayer group, 539,198 rupiah-based corporate SPTs and 501 US dollar-based corporate SPTs have been reported. For the oil and gas sector, there are three rupiah-based SPTs and 20 US dollar-based SPTs,” Inge said in an official statement on Tuesday (28/4/2026).

Inge noted that the growth in reporting is accompanied by an increase in Coretax DJP account activations. Up to the same period, the number of taxpayers who have activated Coretax accounts reached 18,604,398.

This figure consists of 17,456,928 individual taxpayers, 1,055,977 corporate taxpayers, 91,266 government agency taxpayers, and 227 digital economy taxpayers.

This achievement indicates that the migration process and use of the new tax administration system continue to progress, in line with DJP’s efforts to expand the use of Coretax as the backbone of digital tax services.

Specifically for annual SPT reporting, DJP has again reminded corporate taxpayers not to delay filing as the submission deadline is just a few days away.

Meanwhile, for individual taxpayers, the reporting deadline ended on 31 April 2026.

DJP has warned that late reporting may incur administrative sanctions. Individual taxpayers who are late in submitting SPTs face a fine of Rp 100,000, while corporate taxpayers face a fine of Rp 1 million.
