Tax Practitioners Provide Pro Bono Tax Assistance Post for SPT Reporting to Residents

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Tax practitioners are providing consultation services through the Pro Bono Tax Assistance Post (Posbapao) related to the reporting of Annual Income Tax Notification Letters (SPT Tahunan PPh), particularly for residents still facing difficulties with the digital system.

“This can serve as an alternative that many taxpayers can utilise to ensure reporting is done on time,” said Tax Consultant Rahmad Adam from RA Consulting in his statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

According to him, KOPIJATIGOTA-Pro Bono Tax Advisory, in collaboration with WeWork Coworking Space, has opened Posbapao services for consultations and assistance in reporting personal annual SPT through the Coretax system at WeWork Revenue Tower, 26th Floor, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman No. 52-53, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

Adam stated that the high number of taxpayers attending the Posbapao activities indicates increasing awareness of reporting SPT before the deadline.

“Do not wait for an extension. Report your personal annual SPT as soon as possible,” he said.

He mentioned that as the tax reporting closure approaches, officers are actively assisting taxpayers one by one, from the login process to filling and submitting the SPT.

Adam also reminded that as the reporting deadline nears, the potential for system congestion will increase.

Therefore, services like Posbapao become an alternative widely utilised by taxpayers to ensure reporting can be done on time.

To access this service, taxpayers only need to bring documents such as ID card, family card, active email, mobile phone number, as well as a laptop or mobile phone device.

He emphasised that all consultation and assistance services are provided free of charge, making it increasingly attractive for the public to come directly to the location.

With such high enthusiasm, Rahmad hopes that more taxpayers can fulfil their SPT reporting obligations on time.
