Tax Payments Set to Become Easier with QRIS Option in Coretax

The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) is enhancing services within the core tax administration system, known as Coretax. One of the key additions is the inclusion of QRIS features for payments.

This service enhancement forms part of the project to develop supporting services, referred to as the surrounding system for Coretax, as detailed in the DJP Strategic Plan 2025-2029.

“Development of tax payment channels via QRIS to expand the ease and speed of tax payment transactions,” quoted from the DJP Strategic Plan 2025-2029, as contained in the Decision of the Director General of Taxes Number KEP-252/PJ/2025, Tuesday (21/4/2026).

In addition to adding the QRIS feature, the enhanced Coretax supporting services will also include bilingual services on chat channels to improve accessibility for taxpayers (WP).

There will also be the implementation of updates to SIKKA (Financial, Human Resources, and Asset Information System) to support human resource management, as well as the optimisation of Contact Center services to realise responsive, modern, and easily accessible tax services.

Finally, there is the development of a tax statistics dashboard as a basis for analysis in data-based decision-making.
