Tax Digitalisation Helps MSMEs Manage Their Businesses More Easily

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, has entered into a partnership with PT Solusi Anak Negeri, known as Pajakind, to make it easier for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to manage their business transaction and taxation needs digitally. The collaboration, conducted through the BNIdirect bisnis programme with Pajakind, was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement at the Wholesale Innovation Hub, RDTX Square, Jakarta, recently.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said the collaboration forms part of the bank’s efforts to broaden its support for business owners through digital services that can assist with the management of day-to-day business activities.

“Through this collaboration with Pajakind, we want to make it easier for customers to manage their business transaction and taxation needs digitally,” Okki said in a written statement.

Through BNIdirect bisnis, customers can manage their accounts and a range of business transaction needs, from checking balances and paying salaries to settling bills and Virtual Accounts (VA), paying taxes, and applying for financing. The service also supports both single-user and multi-user schemes of up to three users, which can be tailored to a business’s management requirements.

Meanwhile, Pajakind provides a variety of digital tax services, ranging from online tax consultations, the creation and payment of e-Billing, and digital e-Meterai, to assistance with more complex taxation needs. The integration of the two services allows business owners to access their banking and tax requirements more conveniently in support of day-to-day operations.

According to Okki, this convenience is expected to help MSMEs improve their administrative efficiency while strengthening business management so that they can grow more sustainably.
