Taufik Hidayat Brings Friends and Threatens Boarding House Guard with Machete After Returning from Hospital

A boarding house guard named Resa Rohendi recounted his ordeal after being threatened by a man identified as Taufik Hidayat (TH). The incident occurred after Resa helped TH’s girlfriend, a woman identified as YTR (29), who was suspected of being a victim of abuse.

Resa explained that the couple had been staying at the boarding house in Cinunuk Village, Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency. On 9 March 2026, TH asked Resa to help take the woman to the hospital. During the journey, TH instructed Resa to pretend to be a relative of the victim, which raised Resa’s suspicions.

At the hospital, Resa was again pressured to claim he was a family member of the woman. He refused to lie and instead answered questions honestly. Shortly after, TH became aggressive and challenged Resa to a fight outside the hospital.

After the hospital visit, Resa was on his way home when he received word that TH had returned to the boarding house with a group of friends. According to Resa, the suspect was carrying a machete and shouting threats, saying he wanted to kill Resa. Resa’s wife witnessed the commotion from inside their home.
