TAUD Reveals 16 Suspected Field Actors in Acid Attack on Andrie Yunus, Here Are the Details of Their Roles

Jakarta - The Advocacy Team for Democracy (TAUD) has revealed the existence of 16 unidentified persons (OTK) suspected of being involved in the acid splashing attack on Andrie Yunus, Deputy Coordinator of KontraS. This identification is the result of an independent investigation conducted together with independent researcher Ravio Patra. A total of 16 individuals were identified after TAUD carried out the independent investigation with independent researcher Ravio Patra. “From this alone, 16 field actors have already been identified,” said Ravio during a press conference at Resonansi, Kalibata, South Jakarta, on Thursday (9/4/2026). “So there are 16 unidentified persons (OTK). We divide them into four groups,” he added. The first group is the execution team consisting of OTK 1, OTK 2, OTK 3, OTK 4, and OTK 5. The second is the close-range surveillance group, consisting of OTK 6, OTK 7, OTK 8, OTK 9, and OTK 10. The third is the command team. “We suspect the command team are people tasked with coordinating on the ground,” Ravio explained. “Consisting of OTK 11, OTK 12, and OTK 13,” he continued. The fourth is the long-range surveillance group, consisting of OTK 14, OTK 15, and OTK 16. Coordinator of KontraS’ Working Body, Dimas Bagus Arya, explained that the incident began after Andrie finished recording a podcast at the office of the Indonesian Legal Aid Foundation, Menteng. “The podcast recording ended around 11:00 PM WIB,” said Dimas. As a result of the attack, Andrie screamed in pain and fell from his motorbike.
