TASPEN Urges Retirees to Exercise Caution Against Fraud Schemes During THR Distribution
Jakarta — PT Taspen (Persero) continues its commitment to safeguarding participants, particularly civil service (ASN) retirees and state officials, during the distribution of Festive Allowance (THR) payments this year. With THR distribution commencing on 5 March 2026, TASPEN has urged all participants to heighten vigilance against various fraud schemes proliferating in the market that falsely represent the company.
TASPEN’s Corporate Secretary Henra emphasised that THR distribution is conducted automatically directly to each participant’s bank account without requiring any additional authentication process. TASPEN never charges service fees or requests additional personal data for THR withdrawal through unofficial channels throughout the entire service delivery process.
“All our services are provided free of charge. We invite participants to jointly safeguard their personal data from irresponsible parties,” Henra stated.
During the 2026 THR distribution period, TASPEN is ensuring that payments to approximately 3.2 million pension beneficiaries are processed on time, securely, and accurately. To date, 97 per cent of THR has been successfully distributed.
In parallel with this process, TASPEN is increasing vigilance against various fraud schemes that commonly emerge during fund withdrawal periods, including requests for personal data, suspicious link transmissions, and service fee requests falsely attributed to TASPEN.
The company emphasised that all TASPEN services, including THR withdrawal, are provided without any charges, and participants are advised not to provide personal or financial information to sources whose legitimacy cannot be verified. To this end, TASPEN invites all participants to consistently apply the “Hold, Verify, and Report” principle:
Hold: Do not immediately believe messages or letters claiming to be from TASPEN.
Verify: Check the accuracy of information through TASPEN’s official social media channels, the official Call Centre at 1500919, or the nearest branch office.
Report: If there are indications of fraud, immediately report to the competent authorities or TASPEN’s official complaint channel at Call Centre 1500919.
This preventive measure aligns with TASPEN’s commitment as a Centre of Excellence in social security provision, prioritising security, transparency, and convenience for participants. This represents support for President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita vision in enhancing welfare and protection for civil service personnel and state officials. TASPEN ensures that every participant right, including THR distribution, is fulfilled on time, securely, and accountably every year.
