TASPEN Strengthens Bureaucratic Reform through SMAP ISO 37001:2025
PT TASPEN (Persero) is committed to continuously strengthening the implementation of integrity and corporate governance by encouraging all company personnel and participants to actively prevent and report bribery and gratification practices.
This step is a continuation of the implementation of the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) ISO 37001:2016, which has been in place since 2020. It includes TASPEN’s readiness to undergo recertification to ISO 37001:2025 in April 2026.
Furthermore, the implementation of SMAP will be carried out comprehensively throughout the TASPEN environment in 2026, covering all work units, business processes, and relationships with partners and stakeholders, through strengthened control systems, compliance culture, and violation reporting mechanisms.
To this end, TASPEN consistently urges participants to boldly report any suspected or indicated violations, particularly bribery and gratification practices. This effort is part of building a clean, transparent, and accountable public service ecosystem.
The implementation of SMAP ISO 37001:2025 at TASPEN encompasses a comprehensive scope, including all organisational activities both at the head office and branch offices, all company personnel including management and employees, as well as third parties such as business partners, vendors, and agents.
The system regulates comprehensive bribery risk controls, both direct and indirect, including those related to gratification, gifts, hospitality, donations, and potential conflicts of interest, through risk identification processes, due diligence, strengthened internal controls, to reporting and investigation mechanisms.
Corporate Secretary of PT TASPEN (Persero), Henra, stated that this proactive step is an obligation for TASPEN as a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) entrusted with managing pension funds and social security for Civil Servants (ASN) and state officials.
“We carry a crucial mandate in managing the future social security funds of our participants. Therefore, we continue to strengthen the implementation of SMAP ISO 37001:2025 through policy updates, strict internal control systems, and ongoing awareness enhancement for all TASPEN personnel. The goal is one: to create a transparent, accountable work environment free from corrupt practices,” said Henra in his statement on Wednesday (1/4/2026).
As part of this strengthening, TASPEN has set anti-bribery targets for 2026, namely no bribery incidents in all work units within the scope of ISO 37001 implementation (target of 0 cases).
In addition, TASPEN ensures that reports are handled quickly and accountably, including decisions by the Gratification Control Unit (UPG) within a maximum of 14 working days from receipt of the report, follow-up on suspected violation reports through the Whistleblowing System (WBS) up to the stage of the preliminary investigation report within a maximum of 14 working days, and the conduct of special internal audits related to suspected bribery from the time of the board’s directive to the audit result report within a maximum of 14 working days.
Thus, the application of this system directly supports TASPEN’s vision of realising a clean, healthy organisational ecosystem free from all forms of Corruption, Collusion, and Nepotism (KKN).
TASPEN reaffirms its commitment to not tolerating any form of violation. Any proven deviations will be firmly addressed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, as an embodiment of moral values and legal compliance in the company environment.
Throughout 2025, TASPEN has also carried out various anti-corruption culture strengthening initiatives and gratification controls, including anti-corruption socialisation events in commemoration of the International Anti-Corruption Day (HAKORDIA), Compliance Movie Day activities, socialisation of Compliance Culture and Good Corporate Governance at the Head Office and Branches, integrity e-learning programmes, and internal digital campaigns emphasising the 5 NO principles (No Bribery, No Kickback, No Gift, No Luxurious Hospitality, No Conflict of Interest).
TASPEN’s strategic steps in maintaining company integrity are also aligned with the national development direction in President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita, particularly in the pillars of strengthening bureaucratic reform, eradicating corruption, and building clean government governance.
