TASPEN launches journalism and creative video competition
Jakarta (ANTARA) – PT TASPEN (Persero) is holding a journalism and creative video competition as part of the 2026 TASPEN Journalism Awards, which opened on 16 October 2026 to journalists, civil servants (ASN) and the wider public.
Through the competition, TASPEN is inviting participants to broaden the reach of information about the company’s programmes, services, digital transformation and innovations through informative, educational and inspiring journalism and creative content.
TASPEN Corporate Secretary Henra said in a statement in Jakarta on Monday that the 2026 awards were an effort to improve public understanding of TASPEN’s programmes and services through journalism and creative content.
“We are providing a platform for media colleagues, civil servants and the public to produce inspiring and educational work that can help people understand the benefits of TASPEN programmes and learn about the various service facilities we offer,” Henra said.
There are four categories in the 2026 TASPEN Journalism Awards: written journalism, creative video content for journalists, creative video content for the general public, and creative video content for civil servants.
The competition’s theme is “TASPEN Makes Services Easier, Brings Them Closer and Serves Wholeheartedly”.
For the written journalism category, participants may submit hard news, features, in-depth reports or other forms of journalistic writing relevant to the theme.
Entries must be original and comply with the journalistic principles of accuracy, factuality, objectivity and balance. They must also be published during the competition period in print or online media verified by the Press Council.
Each journalist may submit a maximum of three entries and must attach proof of publication in accordance with the organiser’s requirements.
The creative video categories allow participants to convey their message in short videos of 60 to 120 seconds, in a vertical 9:16 format with a minimum Full HD resolution.
Participants may use a range of creative approaches, including live-action filming, animation, motion graphics and other visual techniques.
Videos must be published on public social media accounts on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, with the official hashtags #TASPENAndalPensiunAman and #LombaJurnalistikTASPEN, and must tag the official @taspen and @detikcom accounts in accordance with the competition rules.
To recognise the best entries, TASPEN has allocated a total of Rp60 million in prizes for 12 winners across the four categories.
Entries will be assessed on their relevance to the theme, originality, creativity, presentation quality, accuracy of messaging and educational value.
The 2026 TASPEN Journalism Awards recognise the role of the media and the public in providing information that is accurate, balanced and easy for the public to understand.
Through the competition, TASPEN is encouraging participants to explore perspectives on service accessibility, digital innovation and the company’s contribution to social protection for civil servants, state officials and pensioners across Indonesia.
The initiative also provides a space for collaboration and exchange, while strengthening ties between TASPEN and the public as part of efforts to improve public education and literacy about the importance of social security and wellbeing in retirement.
TASPEN said it remains committed to strengthening its role as a Center of Excellence in delivering social security for civil servants and state officials through service innovation, greater public literacy and stronger collaboration with stakeholders.
The commitment is in line with the President of Indonesia’s Asta Cita agenda, particularly its focus on developing high-quality human resources, improving literacy and the use of technology, and strengthening bureaucratic reform centred on public services.
Through the 2026 TASPEN Journalism Awards, the company is also supporting the development of an educational, inclusive and sustainable information ecosystem on the path towards Golden Indonesia 2045.
