PT TASPEN (Persero) formally handed over pension and savings benefits to former Constitutional Court Judge Arief Hidayat, acknowledging his service to the state. The handover, conducted directly by TASPEN’s Operations Director, Tribuna Phitera Djaja, on Monday, 2 March 2026, reaffirms TASPEN’s commitment to distributing participant benefits in a timely, transparent, and accountable manner.
TASPEN’s Corporate Secretary, Henra, stated that delivering benefits to Arief Hidayat demonstrates TASPEN’s commitment to fulfilling its mandate of providing social security certainty to participants who have served the state. “All processes are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations, transparently and accountably,” Henra said.
As a state-owned enterprise with a mandate to manage social security programmes for civil servants and state officials, TASPEN distributes benefits based on applicable regulations whilst ensuring all procedures comply with good corporate governance principles.
The pension benefit for state officials and Constitutional Court judges is stipulated in Government Regulation No. 50 of 1980, set at 4.75 per cent of basic salary and family allowance. Primary pension rights are calculated at 1 per cent per month of service, with a maximum limit of 75 per cent and a minimum of 6 per cent, then supplemented with family allowance to determine the monthly pension amount.
Under Government Regulation No. 25 of 1981, the pension benefit for state officials and Constitutional Court judges is set at 3.25 per cent of basic salary and family allowance, plus an amount equivalent to 0.55 per cent multiplied by the contribution period and basic salary and family allowance.
Prioritising integrity and professionalism, TASPEN emphasises participant trust at every stage, from service through retirement. This commitment continues to strengthen TASPEN’s position as a centre of excellence in insurance and social security, whilst supporting President Prabowo Subianto’s political agenda in ensuring welfare for civil servants and state officials.
