Taspen Group Launches Free Home Renovation Programme in NTT
PT Taspen (Persero) and Bank Mandiri Taspen implemented a collaborative free home renovation assistance programme in Pagal Village, Cibal District, Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Wednesday, 1 April 2026. The total aid provided amounted to Rp 130,000,000 with a construction period of two months.
“Through this programme, we aim to ensure that the beneficiaries can live in more decent homes, thereby improving their overall quality of life and welfare,” said Taspen’s Corporate Secretary, Henra.
The event, attended by Taspen’s Operational Director Tribuna Phitera Djaja and Special Staff to the Minister of Human Rights Thomas Harming Suwarta along with their teams, according to Henra, not only focuses on the physical construction of homes but also delivers sustainable social impacts. This activity also represents a tangible effort to provide decent housing for the beneficiaries.
Rofina Yultin Rayun, a beneficiary of the free home renovation, expressed her gratitude and thanks for the assistance provided. “With this home renovation programme, our previously inadequate home has now transformed into a safer and more comfortable place to live with the family,” she said.
Since 2025, this Free Home Renovation programme has been carried out nine times and spread across various regions in Indonesia such as Bone, Ende, Kupang, Lubuk Linggau, and Pekalongan. The Free Home Renovation Assistance programme in Manggarai this time is part of Taspen’s social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) carried out collaboratively with Bank Mandiri Taspen, and aligns with President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita directives, particularly in improving the quality of life of the community through the provision of decent, safe, and healthy housing.
Through collaboration with local governments and various stakeholders, Taspen and Bank Mandiri Taspen continue to strengthen efforts to deliver programmes that provide real benefits to the community. In the future, this synergy will be further enhanced to reach more beneficiaries in various regions of Indonesia, while ensuring the sustainability of the programme that positively impacts participants and the wider community.
