PT TASPEN (Persero) distributed 9,500 staple food packages to Civil Servants (ASN) in Grades I-II and the general public across Indonesia. The staple food packages contain rice, cooking oil, sugar, and tea, and will be distributed in stages at various locations throughout Indonesia.

The initiative was formalised by TASPEN’s Chief Operating Officer, Tribuna Phitera Djaja, through a symbolic handover of staple food packages to Tomsi Tohir, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Interior. The handover ceremony took place on Wednesday, 11 March 2026 at the Ministry of Interior Building in Jakarta. This corporate action also represents the company’s commitment to supporting the welfare of TASPEN participants and the wider community.

TASPEN’s Corporate Secretary, Henra, stated that sharing is central to the celebration of Eid al-Fitr. The essence of the festive day, according to Henra, is to ensure that happiness is enjoyed collectively.

“Therefore, the distribution of staple food packages is a manifestation of our concern and respect for civil servants in Grades I-II and the surrounding community. Through this initiative, we wish to ensure that on Eid al-Fitr, the burden of basic necessities is no longer an obstacle to celebrating victory with loved ones,” Henra said.

The activity reaffirms TASPEN’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programme, which aims at sustainable community welfare. Previously, TASPEN distributed 9,000 staple food packages in 2024 and 7,661 packages in 2025.

Additionally, TASPEN regularly conducts distribution of Qur’an endowments and a free homecoming programme to various regions in Indonesia. These programmes represent TASPEN’s support for the community to promote solidarity during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

Beyond managing insurance and social security for civil servants and government officials, TASPEN contributes and fulfils social responsibility through various activities aimed at improving community welfare, in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita values. TASPEN is committed to delivering programmes that can have a positive impact on both participants and all Indonesian society.
