Jakarta – PT TASPEN (Persero) is distributing 9,500 food packages to Grade I-II civil servants (ASN) and the general public across several regions of Indonesia ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2026 as part of its corporate social responsibility programme.

TASPEN’s Corporate Secretary Henra said the food package distribution represents the company’s commitment to ensure that communities, particularly low-income civil servants, can meet their basic needs during the festive celebrations.

“The essence of Eid is to ensure that happiness is shared collectively. Therefore, this food package distribution represents our care and respect for Grade I-II civil servants and surrounding communities,” Henra said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.

The food packages, which contain rice, cooking oil, sugar, and tea, will be distributed in stages across various locations throughout Indonesia to ensure efficient and targeted delivery.

The initiative was formally launched by TASPEN’s Operational Director Tribuna Phitera Djaja through a symbolic handover of food packages to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs Tomsi Tohir at the Ministry of Home Affairs building in Jakarta on Wednesday.

According to Henra, the distribution of these food packages is expected to help lighten the burden of basic needs so that communities can celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their families.

The programme forms part of TASPEN’s Environmental and Social Responsibility (TJSL) initiative, which aims to deliver sustainable benefits to communities.

Previously, TASPEN distributed 9,000 food packages in 2024 and 7,661 packages in 2025, as well as implementing various other social programmes such as Quran endowment and free travel assistance for communities.
