Jakarta — PT TASPEN (Persero) dispatched 1,400 mudik participants using 35 bus units to various destinations across Java and Sumatra through the “Comfortable Homecoming with TASPEN 2026” programme in support of the smooth flow of homecoming traffic for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, launched from several points in Jakarta on Tuesday.

“The Comfortable Homecoming with TASPEN 2026 programme represents TASPEN’s tangible presence for our stakeholders, including the Indonesian public,” said TASPEN Corporate Secretary Henra.

The programme is part of the State-Owned Enterprises Free Mudik initiative, which aims to facilitate the public in returning to their hometowns safely, comfortably, and in an orderly manner during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday period.

In its implementation, TASPEN ensured that all bus units were prepared in a coordinated manner and equipped with travel escorts to provide a sense of security for participants throughout their journey.

Additionally, all participants received life and personal accident insurance coverage from Taspen Life through the Taspen Group Personal Accident product with coverage value of Rp20 million per participant.

TASPEN also expanded the programme’s reach by providing 15 additional bus units for employees within various ministries, including the State Secretariat Ministry with five units, and two units each for the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, Ministry of Human Rights, Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas).

This step is seen as a form of inter-agency synergy in supporting more orderly public mobility during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah period.

The travel routes include major destination cities such as Semarang via the northern route, Yogyakarta via the southern and central routes, Madiun via the Cipali Toll Road, Malang via Yogyakarta and the central route, Solo-Sragen, Surabaya via the northern route, and cities outside Java such as Padang and Jambi.

In addition to providing transportation, TASPEN also offered various additional facilities for participants including merchandise and travel essentials such as t-shirts, caps, tumblers, umbrellas, and bags.

The organising committee also equipped participants with light medicines, such as essential oils and travel sickness remedies, to maintain comfort and health throughout the journey.

Through this programme, TASPEN affirmed its commitment to continuing to present initiatives that provide added value to the public, whilst strengthening its role as administrator of state apparatus social security that prioritises excellent service, inter-agency collaboration, and sustained contribution to the welfare of the Indonesian people.
