PT TASPEN (Persero) has completed the payment of benefits to the family of the late Faridah Utami in a short time. The deceased was a civil servant healthcare worker at RSUP Nasional Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) who was one of the victims in the train accident in East Bekasi on Monday last (26/4/2026). TASPEN has realised the payment of benefits to Samiyadi Siswo Wardono, the husband and sole heir of the deceased. The symbolic handover was carried out by TASPEN’s Operational Director Tribuna Phitera Djaja and RSCM’s CEO Supriyanto, at the Kiara Building of RSCM, on Tuesday (5/5/2026). TASPEN’s Corporate Secretary Henra expressed deep condolences over the passing of the late Faridah Utami, who had dedicated her service as a healthcare worker. “We understand that nothing can replace the figure of a loved one, but TASPEN is present to ensure financial certainty for the family left behind. All rights of the deceased we process proactively and transparently through a digital system so that the benefits can be received by the family immediately,” said Henra. Samiyadi Siswo Wardono, as the heir, expressed his gratitude. “These benefits are very helpful to us in difficult times. Amid the grief we are experiencing, TASPEN’s benefits truly lighten the family’s burden and provide a little relief and peace for the family left behind,” he said. TASPEN’s proactive steps in handling this case are in line with the company’s role as a Centre of Excellence in managing social security for civil servants. This effort is also a form of support for the President’s Asta Cita in strengthening social welfare and community economic resilience through responsive and humane social protection. TASPEN continues to transform by strengthening its digital ecosystem to ensure that every civil servant, whether active or retired, receives the best services without complicated bureaucracy. “This speed is not just a number, but our service standard. Every participant’s rights are a priority that must not be delayed for long,” said Henra.
