PT TASPEN (Persero) has simultaneously destroyed 221,298 archive units for the 2025 period. The total consists of 102,545 archives with a retention period of less than 10 years and 118,753 archives with a retention period of at least 10 years. The destruction was carried out in a hybrid manner involving work units from the Head Office and 50 TASPEN branch offices across various regions in Indonesia on Friday (10/7/2026). The entire destruction process was conducted with attention to accuracy and security, ensuring compliance with applicable archival standards and laws and regulations. Corporate Secretary of TASPEN, Henra, stated that good archive management is one of the main pillars in supporting effective, integrity-driven, and accountable corporate governance. He noted that the archive destruction is part of TASPEN’s continuous efforts to maintain information integrity, improve document management efficiency, and ensure compliance with prevailing archival regulations. ‘Through archive destruction that adheres to archival procedures and regulations, TASPEN ensures that every document management process is carried out in an orderly, transparent, and accountable manner as part of the implementation of good corporate governance,’ Henra said in a statement on Friday (17/7/2026). During the 2021 to 2025 period, TASPEN has destroyed 1,041,759 documents, comprising 752,080 archives with a retention period of less than 10 years and 289,679 archives with a retention period of at least 10 years. This periodic destruction supports an orderly and efficient archive lifecycle within TASPEN. In addition to optimising document storage capacity, this step helps minimise the risk of information misuse and accelerates access to active archives needed to support operations and services to participants. All stages of the process have undergone assessment by the Archives Unit and are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) and the applicable Records Retention Schedule (JRA) within the company. Thus, every destroyed archive is ensured to have met administrative and legal requirements in accordance with statutory regulations. Orderly archive management is one of the foundations of TASPEN’s service transformation. In line with the implementation of the 5T principles, namely Right Person, Right Time, Right Quantity, Right Place, and Right Administration, TASPEN continues to improve service quality through digital innovation, quality improvement, and business process refinement. This commitment also strengthens TASPEN’s role as a Center of Excellence in providing superior and trustworthy social security. One tangible manifestation of this effort is the Andal by Taspen application, which as of 30 June 2026 had been downloaded more than 3 million times on the App Store and Play Store. This is in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita in strengthening an adaptive, inclusive, and welfare-oriented social protection system.
