TASPEN begins disbursing THR 2026 to 3,234,556 pension recipients

Jakarta — PT TASPEN (Persero) has begun disbursing the THR 2026 to 3,234,556 pension recipients simultaneously from Thursday through an integrated pension payment system with 45 payment partners across Indonesia, to help boost purchasing power ahead of Idul Fitri.

Corporate Secretary Henra of TASPEN said the THR distribution is a form of tribute to the service of pensioners to the country and a measure to ensure benefits reach the intended recipients. ‘For us, THR is not just a obligation; it is a form of respect for the dedication of pensioners to the nation. Therefore, TASPEN has optimised the entire system and administration processes so the distribution can run smoothly, in line with the 5T principle: Right Person, Right Amount, Right Time, Right Place, and Right Administration,’ Henra said in a formal statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

For this year’s distribution, TASPEN will pay THR using income components based on the February 2026 payment. The components include basic pension, family allowance, food allowance, and additional income.

THR payments are not subject to deductions for contributions or other deductions including pension credits, except for income tax as mandated by government policy.

Recipients who have pension periods in February 2026 or earlier and whose first pension payment was made after 25 February 2026 will still receive THR 2026 starting 5 March 2026.

Additionally, state officials or pensioners who also receive widower/widow pensions will continue to receive THR from both entitlements.

For those recipients with more than one pension source from different posts, THR will be paid once at the highest value.

Civil servants and state officials who begin pension on or after 1 March 2026 will have THR 2026 paid by their respective agencies.

TASPEN also urges pension recipients to heighten vigilance against various fraudulent schemes claiming to be associated with the THR distribution. The agency emphasises it never requests personal data such as bank account numbers, PINs, OTPs, or any fees in the payout process.
