Task Force to Definitely Halt Operations of This Peer-to-Peer Lending Debt Management Company

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Task Force for Eradicating Illegal Financial Activities (Satgas Pasti) has halted the business operations of PT Malahayati Nusantara Raya because it lacks a business licence. The cessation of operations will continue until Malahayati Nusantara Raya obtains the necessary business licence in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Satgas Pasti Secretariat Hudiyanto stated that they found the company frequently using the OJK logo and claiming to have obtained a licence and to be registered with the OJK in its publications. “Satgas Pasti has halted the activities of PT Malahayati Nusantara Raya,” he said in a written statement on Tuesday (28/4/2026). He explained that Malahayati Nusantara Raya is a company providing services for resolving online loan (pinjol) problems and other financial issues. One of the services offered includes consultation on pinjol problems, debt collection services, as well as programmes for developing and distributing capital to the public. Malahayati promises to handle and resolve clients’ debts across all pinjol platforms and requests compensation from a portion of the loan funds disbursed. He revealed that, in addition to ordering Malahayati to halt its activities, Satgas Pasti has also blocked access to related social media and links until the company fulfils its licensing requirements. “Satgas Pasti will take firm steps in criminal law enforcement if the cessation of activities is not complied with,” he emphasised. In light of this incident, he urged the public to remain vigilant against offers of pinjol problem resolution services and to be wary of the inclusion of the OJK logo or other institutions in their promotional media.
