Tasikmalaya Public Works Office Partners with State-Owned Insurer to Guarantee Infrastructure Projects
PT Askrindo (Persero) Branch Office Tasikmalaya has entered into a partnership with the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Public Housing, Settlement Areas and Environment Office (PUTRLH) of Tasikmalaya Regency to strengthen risk mitigation for infrastructure projects through suretyship and insurance services.
The partnership was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) by Branch Manager Class III of Askrindo Tasikmalaya, Rendy Ramadhan Lubis, together with the Head of the PUTRLH Office of Tasikmalaya Regency, Deden Ramdhan Nugraha, at the PUTRLH Office meeting room in Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java.
The collaboration aims to enhance synergy between the state-owned enterprise and regional government in managing the risks of strategic projects, particularly construction works that fall under the authority of the Tasikmalaya Regency PUTRLH Office.
Askrindo Business Director Budhi Novianto said the partnership forms part of the company’s commitment to supporting accountable regional infrastructure development.
“This strategic partnership is part of Askrindo’s ongoing commitment to supporting the acceleration of accountable infrastructure development in the regions. Through the provision of comprehensive insurance products, Askrindo is present to mitigate the financial and operational risks of construction projects from the outset, so that all work programmes of the Tasikmalaya Regency PUTRLH Office can be carried out safely, to the required standard and on time,” he said on Wednesday (8/7/2026).
According to Budhi, the provision of suretyship and insurance services is expected to provide legal certainty whilst improving security in the execution of government construction projects.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Tasikmalaya Regency PUTRLH Office, Deden Ramdhan Nugraha, welcomed the partnership. He considered the availability of professional risk mitigation instruments an important factor in minimising potential obstacles during project implementation.
“We welcome this collaboration with PT Askrindo positively. Professional insurance protection is a crucial instrument in minimising risk failures in the field and improving certainty in construction execution. With better risk governance, we are optimistic that infrastructure development as well as the management of settlement areas and the environment in Tasikmalaya Regency can be realised more optimally, safely and competitively,” he said.
Through the partnership, both parties hope the implementation of guarantee and insurance services can soon be applied to the various development programmes managed by the Tasikmalaya Regency PUTRLH Office.
In addition to supporting more transparent, professional and accountable project delivery, the partnership is also expected to open up opportunities for further collaboration between Askrindo and the Tasikmalaya Regency Government in supporting regional development in the future.
