Tasikmalaya Police Predict Peak Homecoming Traffic on Southern Route Four and Two Days Before Eid
The Tasikmalaya Police Department has predicted that the peak of homecoming traffic on the southern route through Lingkar Gentong will occur four days and two days before Eid (H-4 and H-2 Lebaran). In preparation for the anticipated surge in vehicles, authorities have established 35 traffic control posts and service centres along the southern Tasikmalaya route to manage traffic flow and assist travellers during the Lebaran holiday exodus.
The predictions are based on traffic pattern analysis and historical data from previous homecoming periods. The police department has strategically positioned traffic management facilities and personnel along the critical route to ensure smooth traffic flow and enhance road safety during this peak travel period. The service posts will provide assistance to travellers and help mitigate congestion on the busy southern corridor.
