Tasikmalaya City Police Check Readiness of Mudik Routes on the National Route
Tasikmalaya (ANTARA) - Police Resort Tasikmalaya City is checking the readiness of security posts and mudik routes on the national route for the implementation of Ketupat Lodaya 2026 in Tasikmalaya, West Java.
“We ensure that all security posts, service posts, and integrated posts are ready,” said Tasikmalaya City Police Chief AKBP Andi Purwanto in Tasikmalaya, on Sunday.
He stated that the authorities, together with related agencies, directly checked the condition of the main routes that will be traversed by homecomers to determine what needs to be considered to provide safety and comfort for the public.
Regarding the readiness of posts on the mudik route, he said, they are ensured to have the facilities and infrastructure ready to serve the public, especially homecomers during the mudik and balik seasons.
“From the personnel side to supporting facilities, so that people undertaking the mudik journey can feel safe and comfortable,” he said.
Regarding the posts prepared, he said there are eight security posts, two integrated posts, and three service posts distributed along strategic arterial routes in the southern corridor of Tasikmalaya City.
He said the authorities not only ensure the readiness of facilities but also that all personnel are ready to carry out security tasks along the mudik route.
“The personnel involved in Ketupat Lodaya 2026 are truly prepared to provide safety, comfort, and the best service for the community,” he said.
He added that all personnel involved in the field will prioritise humane, professional conduct and increase vigilance in maintaining security and smooth traffic flow.
He hopes the readiness of his personnel can provide a sense of safety and comfort for the public intending to travel for mudik or balik during Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.
“With this preparedness, it is hoped that Eid security operations in the Tasikmalaya City Police jurisdiction can run safely, smoothly, and in a conducive atmosphere,” he said.
