Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — Four months after its formation, the Task Force for Accelerating Government Strategic Programmes (Satgas P2SP) has already received hundreds of reports on business obstacle cases. However, business actors hope that Satgas P2SP will not merely become a ‘rubbish bin’ but rather a catalyst for structural reform. Satgas P2SP first opened the business obstacle complaint channel (debottlenecking) in mid-December 2025. Entrepreneurs can report any complaints through the website lapor.satgasp2sp.go.id. As of 8 April 2026, Satgas P2SP has received 112 complaints, with 58 reports already deliberated. Of the total reports received, 53 are related to business permitting. This means that the main problem in the business climate is still related to permitting. Business actors are not surprised by this fact. Secretary General of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi) Anggawira explained that permitting obstacles are indeed a classic problem in doing business in Indonesia. The issue is that business actors often get confused about where to complain when facing stuck permits, technical recommendations that do not come out, or differing interpretations of central and regional regulations. Therefore, Angga appreciates the opening of the debottlenecking complaint channel by Satgas P2SP. In the first four months, he assesses that Satgas P2SP has been quite helpful in straightening out tangled bureaucratic permitting threads by bringing cases to cross-ministry/institution forums for solution decisions. “This is far better than before when business actors had to move from one agency to another without certainty,” Angga explained to Bisnis on Thursday (9/4/2026). Meanwhile, Satgas P2SP consists of three working groups (Pokja). Pokja I is tasked with monitoring the budgets of ministries/institutions. Pokja II is tasked with resolving various obstacles or debottlenecking in the business world through the lapor.satgasp2sp.go.id channel. Meanwhile, Pokja III handles regulations and law enforcement. If in the Pokja II deliberations, regulations that hinder the business world are found or if assistance with regulations is needed in policy formulation, then Pokja III will step in. In the open sessions of Satgas P2SP, classic business obstacle problems often emerge, such as permitting issues, convoluted bureaucracy, and sectoral egos.
