Targeting the Middle Ground, Damai Putra Group Leverages 100 Percent VAT Stimulus
The increasing competition in the property market in eastern Jakarta requires developers to redefine their strategies to maintain customer retention.
Damai Putra Group, a developer with a track record of over 42 years, is responding to this dynamic by strengthening its financial structure and launching innovative commercial products.
This initiative begins with the completion of the Own The Future Today customer appreciation program, which covers the market base in Jabodetabek, Central Java, and East Java.
Internal improvements and enhanced service quality are key factors for the company to remain a reliable entity for investors and customers.
“Customer trust is the primary foundation in every development step. We continue to undergo continuous transformation to ensure the company’s relevance in the national property landscape,” said Lenny in a statement on Thursday (May 14, 2026).
In line with efforts to restore market sentiment, Damai Putra Group is launching Cova Square, a premium commercial area in the heart of Kota Harapan Indah (KHI).
This project is designed to fill the deficit of commercial space that can accommodate urban lifestyles as well as the needs of modern corporations.
Technically, Cova Square adopts the Alfresco Balcony concept, which integrates circulation between units to create a more dynamic public interaction.
GM Sales of Damai Putra Group, Hadi Putra, said that Cova Square is the answer to the need for business space with high flexibility.
“We integrate a Hybrid Parking System and a multi-business concept in a single shop-house structure. With KHI’s population reaching 60,000, the potential for consumer traffic is at a stable level,” explained Hadi.
In the first phase, these commercial units are priced starting from IDR 2 billion. To accelerate market absorption, the developer is leveraging incentives in the form of a 100 percent VAT incentive borne by the government and exemption from land and building acquisition fees.
Given the area of Kota Harapan Indah, which reaches 2,200 hectares, of which only 800 hectares have been realized, Damai Putra Group’s expansion capacity still has ample room for growth.
The long-term target population of 300,000 is a major attraction for investors seeking the multiplier effect from local economic growth on the border of East Jakarta and Bekasi.
