Targeting Growth: MTMA and East Kutai Government Prepare Kutim Growth Forum 2026

The Regional Government of East Kutai Regency (Kutim) fully supports the plan by MTMA and the Media Collaboration Space to hold the Kutim Growth Forum 2026. East Kutai Regent Ardiansyah Sulaiman stated that the Kutim Government continues to strengthen regional economic transformation by encouraging the development of the agriculture, tourism, and creative economy sectors, as well as empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Ardiansyah Sulaiman welcomed an audience with MTMA and the Media Collaboration Space in the Regent’s office. “One of the main agendas discussed in the meeting was the plan to organise the Kutim Economic Forum, a national-scale forum designed to bring together various stakeholders, including government elements, business actors, academics, communities, and the public,” Ardiansyah said, as quoted on Friday (26/6/2026). The audience was attended by Head of the Kutim Tourism Office Mahriadi, Head of the Cooperatives and SMEs Office Marhadyn, Head of the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) Novian Prananta, East Kutai DPRD member Akbar Tanjung, representatives from the Industry and Trade Office (Disperindag), the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), and several related regional apparatuses.
