Targeting Gen Z, Hanura Pushes Jobs and Education Issues
The People’s Conscience Party (Hanura) is preparing a special strategy to attract Generation Z (Gen Z) voters ahead of upcoming political events.
The party led by Oesman Sapta Odang (Oso) has chosen to focus its efforts on the issues of expanding employment opportunities and aligning the education sector with industry needs.
This was affirmed by the Chairman of the DPP Task Force Team and Deputy Chairman of the Hanura Party, Patrice Rio Capella, after leading a consolidation and technical meeting with DPD, DPC administrators, and DPRD members across East Kalimantan (Kaltim) in Balikpapan on Saturday (22/8).
Patrice acknowledged that, based on electoral track records, the Gen Z group holds a very large share and influence in determining the direction of national political preferences. Therefore, Hanura is committed to being present and responding to the real needs of young people.
“After this, we will certainly raise issues or focus on the needs of Gen Z today and in the future. What are their needs? Of course, job opportunities,” said Patrice.
He hopes that the job market in Indonesia, particularly in East Kalimantan, can open more widely for young people. The issue of job availability is now being seriously championed by his party.
In addition to employment issues, Patrice highlighted the importance of guaranteeing the future of education. He stressed that the current education curriculum must be directly connected to the needs of industry and the job market.
“Education must not simply create new unemployment. When they finish university, they do not know where to go. Hanura is certainly focused on resolving such matters,” he asserted.
He believes that the strength of a nation depends greatly on the quality and welfare of its young generation. If young people are given sufficient space and opportunity in the development process, Indonesia will surely become more advanced.
“We hope Hanura becomes a place for young people to place their hopes for the future. Because Hanura is also building a future for this country, and building a future for the young people of East Kalimantan,” concluded Patrice.
