TAP Untuk Negeri Relaunches Pondasi Programme for Communities Near Company Operations

PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAP), through its subsidiary PT Yudha Wahana Abadi (YWA), has relaunched the Renovation and Sanitation Programme (Pondasi) as part of the TAP Untuk Negeri initiative in Merapun Village, East Kalimantan. The programme, which targets communities living around the company’s operational areas, focuses on improving the quality of people’s housing through home renovations to make them safer, healthier, more comfortable, and fit for habitation, especially for the elderly. “The renovations carried out not only improve the physical condition of the buildings but also enhance sanitation facilities,” said PT YWA management in a statement on Wednesday, 15 July 2026. Thus, a house does not only function as a shelter but also becomes a nurturing space that supports the health and well-being of all family members. This effort is expected to help the elderly live their later years with a better quality of life. Merapun Village Head, Lobrik John, appreciated the implementation of the programme as a form of collaboration that provides real impact for the community. “We express our gratitude to TAP Untuk Negeri through PT YWA for their concern for the people of Merapun Village,” said John.
