Tap Machines at CSW Bus Stop Temporarily Out Due to Power Outage, TransJakarta Apologises

The tap machines at the CSW bus stop in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, were temporarily out for five minutes due to a power outage. TransJakarta has apologised for the inconvenience. “We apologise for the discomfort experienced by customers at the CSW stop because the gate machines could not be used for approximately five minutes during the power outage,” said Head of Public Relations and CSR at TransJakarta, Ayu Wardhani, to reporters on Thursday (23/4/2026). Ayu explained that the company quickly addressed the issue. The tap machines were reactivated using a generator. “This situation was handled promptly because we used a generator, so it did not disrupt services to customers,” she said. It is known that there was a power outage in several areas of Jakarta. PLN stated there was an electricity disruption at several points in Jakarta. Around 10:30 WIB earlier, a power outage occurred in the office area of Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta. “There was a supply disruption affecting several areas of Jakarta. PLN is focused on normalisation efforts,” said Senior Manager of Communication and Public Affairs at PLN UID Jakarta Raya, Haris Andika, in his statement.
