CALGARY (Reuter): Tanqueray Resources Ltd said the Indonesian
Ministry of Mines and Energy accepted Tanqueray's application to
acquire a 90 percent interest in a mineral licence or working
contract comprising 18,070 hectares in Indonesia.

Tanqueray said the licensed area, located in the western part
of the Island of Java about 65 km south of Jakarta, covers
Tertiary sedimentary and volcanic rocks intruded by igneous
stocks and dikes.

The contract lies in a well-mineralized area that includes two
operating epithermal gold/silver mines at Cikotok and Gunung
Pongkor, Tanqueray said.

It said prospecting, geological and geochemical surveys will
begin in the near future at the site.
