Tanjungpandan Immigration Deports Six Chinese Nationals
Tanjungpandan (ANTARA) - The Class II TPI Immigration Office in Tanjungpandan, Bangka Belitung Province, has deported six foreign nationals (WNA) from China due to the misuse of residence permits.
The Head of the Class II TPI Immigration Office in Tanjungpandan, Heryansyah Daulay, in an official statement received by ANTARA in Tanjungpandan on Saturday, said that this action represents the agency’s commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty.
“Based on the examination results, the six foreign nationals were found to have violated Article 122 of Law No. 6 of 2011 on Immigration. They misused the residence permits granted by the Indonesian government,” he said.
The initials of the six Chinese nationals deported are WX (59), MJ (39), CJ (36), MZ (56), ZT (31), and ST (60). All are male.
The repatriation process was carried out through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport with strict escort by officers to their home country in China.
All departure stages were conducted in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure the process runs smoothly and orderly.
The Tanjungpandan Immigration Office also urges the public and related parties to continuously participate in reporting the presence of foreigners in their surroundings to maintain order and national security.
